September 6, 2010 – At the Milwaukee LaborFest President Obama announced a plan to rebuild roads, railroads, and airports over the next 6 years, adding over 4000 miles of railways.

Cubs manager Lou Piniella said Tuesday that he had wanted to keep his plans to retire at season’s end a secret, but it leaked out after his agent spoke to a New York Daily News reporter.
“It caused me some headaches,” Piniella said of being forced to have the team announce his intentions once the news got out. “I wanted to talk to my team first.”

Sinjoyla and Angelisa had to wait years to be married. As with most weddings, they plan to stay married and retire together.
They have been toghether for 12 years. They were the first to be married in DC under the new measure.
Other states allowing same sex marriage: Connecticut, Iowa, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
Sinjoyla Townsend and Angelisa Young were the first to apply for same-sex marriage licence.
